planning a motorcycle trip

Hello, been reading some of our entries since I\'m planning a motorcycle trip through Africa no later than 2019. I may buy a motorcycle in Spain and then cross it into Morocco and go south from there. I plan to travel for about a year plus or minus a few months and am looking for all the info that I can use.
are you traveling now? any general tips or advice (which I swear to follow :wink: regarding Africa?
