Hi, I saw your link in an Organic Gardening List message. I think it's great that you homeschool. We have a 9-year-old who goes to public school, and also have a 3-year-old and nearly-2-year-old. Sometimes I think I'd like to homeschool, but am unsure. I know that I can teach them Spanish and some Portuguese, and music...I guess one of the problems is that I doubt I'd have the support of my husband...his mother is a teacher and he seems to go for the mainstream in children's issues. I stay home with them but haven't always had his full support. He also mentioned the other day that we really need to start saving more for retirement...he might tell me I need to go get a "full-time job" so I can save towards retirement or college for the kids. You know, if you don't have a job outside the home people say you're not "working" - ha!
Sorry to ramble, just wanted to say I think it's nice that you homeschool. I try to garden organically, too.
