Yes, I have admired Mary Hopkin for her many songs and I fell in love with her very first album \"Post Card\" and I think mary is a very down to earth musical artist. I\'d pick Mary over any other female musical artist in the world  |

First, I appreciate the fact that there exists a site for this wonderful singer. |

Her song \"Those were the days\" used to be played at my hostel lounge at IIT, Bombay almost every day by someone. It was an LP record ( in the late \'70s) and her rich, soulful voice used to make me sad and happy at the same time. There is something indescribably beautiful about this song, and no one could have rendered it better than Mary Hopkin. |
