Thank you for the info as it has calmed some children down. They were under the impression this was the first time this would happen. This time is scientific you see. The hurricane on the east coast, the horrid rains on the west coast and people talking about the end of America as we know it since the presidential election and the alinement of the planets all point to the end of this system.

I used this list for a class I am teaching on how to debunk stuff like the 2012 BS. We had a great time looking through the list and finding fun and interesting failed prophecies. Thanks for all the effort putting it together.

There are far too many people who base the rapture on "their sources". The Bible is very clear about when the Rapture is going to happen. Also it is very clear that the world is not going to end. Even the Mayan calendar is said to indicate the end or an age, not the end of the world. The new Mayan calendar was not found at that time. The Rapture is getting close but you must watch the signs in the Bible to sure but even then you will still have the 7 year tribulation period to go through if you miss it. Laugh and scoff but the Bible has never been proven wrong. The book of Revelation is loaded with information to those who really want to know. God Bless and read the Bible to learn the true facts.

I have to say that Im very impressed by the compilation of all the information. It was very fun reading. I was raised as a JW and to see how many times they predicted the world coming to an end is very laughable now. No wonder people live in fear and dont live their lives fully. Wow. Cant wait til 2027!

I actually found and purchased "88 reasons why the rapture will be in 1988". It is a fabulous read, and also contains on the reverse another book of his called "on borrowed time". This one is even better, as it gives a full timeline of the apocalypse that begins September 11 1988 and ends January 1st 3000 AD with: "Occupancy of the new heaven and the new earth now begins. Eternity begins. (Tuesday.)" On borrowed time is also written by Edgar C. Whisenant.
