Re: 33 Years

Hi there Adara, yes Niel was truly a wonderful man, and he played a spectacular part in Catweazle, he as all the others are sorely missed, as you truly hold a candle for Niel how do you fancy taking up this opportunity to sponsor him for our big 50th event being held in the fall of 2020 we plan to have a section dedicated to each actor,we are currently acquiring sponsors and this could be your way of remembering Niel, the section dedicated to Niel would have a plaque in honor to him with your name on it as a wonderful sponsor, you can make a donation at the gofundme/geoffreybayldonmemorial or perhaps contact Carol direct on carodaw56@gmail.com to discuss an alternative, Carol ,myself and the team look forward to hearing from you, and thank you.

Re: 33 Years

I'm just watching the 8 episode series of Who Pays The Ferryman from 1977. I have been searching for a copy to view for a long time and although on DVD I have now found it. Its on YouTube and Neil features in it. It is based on the island of Crete and Neil being fluent in Greek must have enjoyed working on it.

Re: 33 Years

Everytime I watch Catweazle, I'm always entranced by the regular cast, and Neil is no exception. It's a mark of a good actor that I've seen him in other things and despite his recognisable face, I've often thought it a different actor. Sam is a superb creation, and we should remember Neil McCarthy.
