I am letting you know that Geoffrey's personal effects are being auctioned next week and you have the opportunity to bid on any item if you wish to do so.

Live on-line bidding can be done via www.the-saleroom.com   One can also listen in to the sale on this site (11th October - 1.30pm approximately) without actually registering to bid.

Alternatively - telephone bids can be booked with the auctioneers and they will call parties when the lot comes up or commission bids can be left with them and the auctioneer will bid on behalf of the interested party up to the maximum stated.

Thanks for the notification Carol. There are some interesting lots, I hope they fetch the prices they deserve. I shall certainly be watching.

If you are in touch with the auctioneers perhaps you could get them to amend the spelling of Catweazle which they have got consistently wrong on every lot!

Yes, they do know its misspelt, whether they can change it or not remains to be seen. Not sure it will make too much difference - it's always being spelt wrong apart from by the true fans of course who will spot it immediately. There something about it being wrong that makes me think of "Nothing Works" even in the catalogue lol.

I'm glad to see they have managed to correct the spelling of Catweazle.
