Hello Everyone
I have had a day or so to recover now!!!
Thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday and Sunday and joined in the revelry! I do hope that everyone enjoyed themselves.
The highlight of course was Geoffrey's unveiling of his and Kip's tribute bust. It is a magnificent piece of work and Geoffrey is very proud of it and wants it for himself!!! LOL Thank you Mr Roger Andrews for taking the commission on (a Catweazle member already!)
We were very keen to be able to get this done this year, however we still had not raised enough funding for it's completion. Roger was good enough to get it done anyway for us and agreed for the remaining fee to be paid as soon as possible after that. Well I don't know about you but I feel that in sending my donation in I feel that I am part of that wonderful bust and also in doing so am saying "Thank you Kip and Geoffrey" you mean enough to me for me to honour you in this way. Now because we still need to finish paying for it, I am asking EVERYONE to do the same - be part of it, feel proud and show your thanks - I guarantee it will may you feel good. You can go on to the BCWB page on the website and donate whatever you wish.
A newsletter will be coming out soon to our members. In the mean time do write you thoughts about the weekend on here as well as our face book page.

Thanks, Carol, for all you did (against the odds!) towards and at the weekend. It was thoroughly enjoyable and a magical tribute to a magical series (and the statue is better than I think anyone dared hope).

As you know, I have made a donation towards the outstanding part of the 'bill' for the statue, and I encourage everyone else to do likewise. It is a thing of beauty and love, and its creator has done a marvellous job. It's good to feel that I've contributed towards it in a small way.

Just wanted to say thanks back to you, Carol and Sue and all at the Fan Club who helped to organise the weekend. It was a wonderous event and you all made newbies like me feel very welcome. Roger\'s statue is breathtaking and I hope my small contribution helps towards its cost. I think that Geoffrey was very taken by it and I think it\'s a beautiful way to celebrate the work of all who made Catweazle such a magical series - especially Kip and Geoffrey. Looking forward to next year already!
