A Day out for Geoffrey

On Saturday 16th November, Geoffrey, Craig and myself went along to the Marriott Hotel Regents Park for a Christmas Lunch in honour of Bernard Cribbins 70 years in show business and what a great day it was.

Geoffrey has been friends with Bernard for some time so only right he went along to be part of it.

There were a lot of other celebrities on the day - June Whitfield, Barry Cryer, Lynda Baron, Jean Ferguson, Jess Conrad and Jack Smethurst to name but a few.

We were also joined by 2 people I had invited who had worked with Bernard and they were Jenny Agutter and Deddie Davies who were both in The Railway Children with Bernard.
Unfortunately Gary Warren did not go along as well.

If anyone would like to see some photos from the day, please e mail me.

Re: A Day out for Geoffrey

It's lovely to hear of these reunions. I was recently invited to a reunion of a70s dance troop called the Fol-de-Rols. They were part of the variety cicuit at that time. I worked on a few pantos and shows with The Jenny Set Dancers and recently found the choreographer Jennifer Haley on Facebook. She was pleasantly. surprised to hear from me after so long.
Fun and festive wishes to all from Mike Hopkins.
