Hello, first of all I would just like say how nice it is to know that there are so many people out there that remember and cherish Catweazle. Such a fantastic character and played so well by Mr Bayldon.
I am currently immersed in an iPhone app called 'Quercus Circus' which is a real world treasure hunt based game about a buried golden acorn. A friend put me on to the app because of its leanings towards its Catweazle style (if you know what I mean). I am convinced that some of the clues to the whereabouts of the golden acorn which is buried somewhere in the UK are referenced in one of the Catweazle episodes. During my research into my suspicions, I spoke to Geoffery Bayldons current agent/manager. Apparently he has been approached by the creator of Quercus Circus to perform on the sequel!
So I wonder if that will be in the form of Catweazle? Anyway we will just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I would recommend all Catweazle fans to have a look at the Quercus Circus iPhone app, because it is brilliant with some similarities to Kit William's 'Masquerade'. If you work out any of the clues let me know.

It looks good fun, I remember "Masquerade" very well. I wish I could work the clues out - but if they are cryptic then I will be useless at it!
I have not heard Geoffrey mention that he has been approached by anyone from this and I think he would have let us know if he was going to do anything like that.
Anything that has any bearing on advertising Catweazle in a good light is ok by me.
