On the subject of the hotel, Mike, Graham and myself went along to there last Friday to meet the manager and have a look round and we were very impressed.

The bedrooms are being refurbished and are really lovely. We will virtually have the run of the hotel ( but no rock star behaviour please ) which has a nice lobby where you can relax and a bar too.
Hopefully the weather will be sunny and warm and our barbecue can go ahead as planned along with the quiz and other entertainment in the garden.

Hi Sue, and many thanks for the photos - the hotel looks great and will probably be much quieter at night when we all want a good rest. Last year there was a lot of noise outside at the Preston Cross quite late at night, so hopefully our rural setting might ensure a bit more peace and quiet! Look forward to talking to you soon.
