Hi everyone, now we are nearly out of january it won't seem long to this years Hexwood, Jeff you will probably know how many sleeps we have left? anyway hopefully everyone has read the latest newsleter, Carol, Sue, Mike and myself are trying to get as many members to stay in the same hotel, the one we have come up with offering the best deal is The Bookham Grange KT23-4DY, unfortunately as Hexwood is in june there are often a lot of weddings on which is the case this year, so that reduces down the choice, it looks like we have at least 10 rooms already booked which is good, if there are any members who still wish to reserve accomodation then Carol will be pleased to try and arrange it for you, we hope to have everthing in place by the 5th february this is because the hotel needs to know definate rooms required.I have also had a quick look for anyone traveling by rail, it looks like the nearest station to the hotel is Effingham Junction which looks to be just over a mile away, there are stations at Horsley and Clandon, I hope this is of some help.

Actually the nearest train station is Bookham itself and it's a short walk to the hotel.
For anyone who is coming to both Hexwood and Brickendon and doesn't have transport, you can get from Bookham to Hertford East but it will require changing trains.

I believe that once at Hertford East, you can walk to Brickendon, but I will check this out for sure.

It all sounds marvellous and a big thank you to the group organising the accommodation - it's a huge help, especially for those of us coming from afar.

Assuming that the hotel has a website, would someone be able to put the link onto the forum please? I was going to but the one I found called the Bookham Grange had a different postcode so I suspect I've found one of the many in England with the same name.

That one looked fabulous but I'd much rather look at the one we're staying at!
