Magical Weekend

Hello,
I have just received the email regarding the Catweazle weekend and it sounds wonderful! I really must take my hat off to both Gary and Carol for organising what I am sure for many, will be a dream come true. I so hope to come to the Brickendonbury Sunday event and see that balloon! Wow!

By the way, on my travels I spend a lot of time in Travelodges which are cheap and cheerful. If it does get booked up around East Clandon and Brickendonbury, there are a few of these hotels around each location. Just a look at the website this morning reveals some as cheap as £29 a night.

Thankyou, we are hoping it is going to be a great weekend.
With regard to the travel lodges. We have tried these to but sadly it is difficult to block book a commercial chain like these. Secondly the price does go up considerably, if you only want a Saturday night in the Summer month of June. I think the nearest one to the farm is in Guildford. We tried a couple of other places and again because it's not mid-week, the price for a Saturday was about £90, and that was if you could find one not booked up. That's Surrey in Summer for you! However, if you consider a great weekend for around £100 all in (apart from petrol etc.)it's not bad.
The hotel rooms are being booked up now, we have about 7 rooms left. So get in quick if you want to be included! PS Si. something on it's way to you
