All members should have had their newsletters about this years special weekend. Just in case some of you have changed your contact address etc. I am repeating the details here and on the website.
Saturday 26th is the day of the Hexwood fete and we will be having a day of fun with a Catweazle location Scavenger Hunt and Quiz. There will be a bar-be-que and a little entertainment in the evening (ticket only) On the Sunday we will be going to Brickendon to the place where the second series was filmed. There will time to explore the area and inside the house. A finger buffet will be provided in the afternoon. The cost for each day is £15 but if you book before the end of Feb. the cost will only be £25. Please note that this does NOT include transport or hotel fees, and it is not compulsory to attend both days. Geoffrey will attend one day at least but he hasn't decided which day - so if you want to make sure - book both days!! Naturally. we are all very much hoping that Robin and his family will be joining us and that will indeed be a reason in itself for coming.
Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions. We do want this do be a fun weekend for everyone. It will possibly be the last event like this, so do come if it is at all possible

Re: HEXWOOD 2010

Just a few words of encouragement to those that think they might attend the weekend, but maybe not because it's too far to travel.....think again! I was the very proud recipient last year of the Hexwood 'Long Distance Award 2009' - attending the festivities from Australia and it was worth every minute of travel and every dollar spent.

As well as the many obvious attractions of the occasion, I got to meet loads of new people and make some fabulous new friends from all corners of the globe.

So don't miss out!
