Apologies for the delay, I have been away on holiday.

I know you are supposed to get a sheet with the breakdown (pass/merit/distinction) for each unit when you get your certificate, but for some reason I never did, so I have no idea what the marking was for the individual units which annoyed me - I really wanted to know what I got for the project, the other subjects I wasn't that bothered about!

Within 6 months of completing my HNC I had a new job and I am now working as a specialist medical (EBME) engineer (http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/Default.aspx?Id=242) looking after the electronic equipment in the special care baby unit in a large hospital. I have doubled what I am now paid to what I was getting before doing the HNC which proves it was worthwhile.

A degree - hmm, I did consider it at one point, but as I'd have to do it part time I don't think I'm ready to commit myself to four years of torture! besides which I am still climbing up my pay scale at the moment so there is no drive to put myself through the pain. If it ever happens then I would consider doing another similar website.
