Re: The Most Reliable Religion

What you can do is to study by yourself if u really want to know the answer to ur question. The modern and scientific way of studying things has given us a measure on which we can judge things, teachings or phenomena’s to be truthful or false. For example, when a stone falls on the ground we know that this is gravitation, which is behind this phenomenon. This knowledge has been given to us by Physics. Anyhow you can't judge a religion by Physics because religion is not a phenomena but a collection of teachings. Every religion has a holy personality and a holy book and a specific notion about God (with the only exception of Buddhism where no God is necessary). That is why you have to study the holy personality and the holy book of a certain religion in order to be able to judge it. History gives us answers to our questions about these two integral points of any religion under study. You have now gotten a way of measuring different religions and their reliability. Reaching this point, we know that the only one holy personality, which is historically proved, is Mohammad who was the founder of Islam. According to the modern Historians like Philip K. Hitti, Gibbon and many more Mohammad was born in the light of history, thereby a proved personality. On the other hand there is no historical script or source, which could possibly prove that Jesus ever lived. Similarly the book which Mohammad said was from Allah (god is called Allah in Arabic) has been out of human addition and no one has ever been able to taint the script of it because the early Muslims learnt every word of it by heart and recited it five times a day under the approval of Mohammad himself. In seventeenth century press was invented and it saved the original Koran forever. I know what I described here is not enough for justifying the Koran and Mohammad (and thereby Islam) to be reliable. You have to study and study to be able to judge a religion.
