Re: Re: Lisa

Hi Susan, I am so very sorry for your loss. I to have lost several loved one and friends to cancer. I lnow the pain and fear and anguish.
Now that my wife is a Breast Cancer survivor, I feel that it very important that this deadly disease be made aware of. It was very hard for me to read the strip at first, but as time went on, I found myself being drawn to it more and more every day.
Today, as I read the strip (Oct-4-2007) I felt the finality of the loss of Lisa. We must think of it as a closure for the pain that Lisa and her family and friends were going thru.
Please don't take me as being callous and cold, but in my heart and mind, the person that was in pain has been set free.
We as the living still here are the ones that are not set free. We never want to feel the pain of loosing a loved one. That is because we are greedy and don't want to go thru life without that one person.
As of October 1, 2007, my wife has been a survivor. On October 26, of this year, my wife will have been cancer free for five years.
I thank God above every day that I can wake up and hold her again.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't remember each and every one of my loved ones and friends. It is just a trial we all must deal with and with the faith I have in God above, I make it thru every day.

Regards.
