just bought a new notebook with Vista...everytime I try to install the latest release of RSP (103 b77) I get a dialog box saying the file is smaller than expected and the install crashes.

Anyone encounter this that can offer advice?

We know that RSP runs OK on Vista, so that's not the problem.

Have you actually checked the size of the install file, just to make sure it's not been corrupted?

Right click and select Properties. The Size should be 7,916,186 bytes. The Size on disk may vary depending on the file system being used.

Thanks for the tip Stuart. I checked the size of the install file and, as you surmised, it was quite a bit smaller. I don't quite know what happened to the file, but a couple of archives back I found one of the correct size and installed it successfully.
