does anyone know how much it costs to get to bangkok via bus from phuket and any info about it ie when it leaves etc

There is an office near Chalong Circle where you can buy bus tickets to Bangkok. The VIP bus is the best. They have 24 seats and air-con and comfortable seats.

Glen unless you like long tedious bus journeys u should just sack off the bus idea and get a cheap flight with airasia or nok air.
