Hi Guys! Recently decide to take a trip to PHUET in end of OCT and drop by the gyms for training Muay Thai. However, anyone can give me a hand for the following question:
1. PATONG or KARON Hotel to Gym - any trnsportaion can be suggest and cost??
2. The weather - In oct - is this a rainly season in end of Oct??

The rainy season should be over at the end of September. So by the end of October the weather should be very nice. Karon is closer to the camp than Patong. Even closer is Kata Beach. It really depends on your priorities. if you want to train everyday then I suggest staying as close to the camp as possible. If you only want to train a couple times a week then staying in Karon or Patong is alright. From Karon to Rawai the ride is about 15 minutes. From patong it takes about 25 minutes. You can take Tuk Tuks but be sure to arrange the price before getting on. Most hotels also offer their own taxi service and you can arrange the taxi driver to take you to the gym and wait for you while you train and then drive you back.
