I love watching old movies from the golden age era of Hollywood, and I was wondering why we don't have nightclubs like we did back then. Food, drinks, dancing, and entertainment--it looks marvelous. People would get all dressed up to go out to these places, which are so different from the nightclubs of today.

Are there any places around that are still like that? If not, why don't we have them? I can understand that tastes change in regards to music and fashion, but I imagine there are people today who would still love to dress up and go hear live jazz. I could see a nightclub like that filling a niche role today. What do you think?
