Unidentified Lyrics

Can anyone help to identify these song lyrics from the 1950's:
Nothing is forever
Always is a lie
I can only love you
Til the day I die

I have been told they are from an Eddie Fisher song but I have searched all his tracks and cannot find anything to match. I think it also has the words climbing or rambling rose in the song.

Re: Unidentified Lyrics

Apparently it's by Sweet Sue Evans (a 1958 Time article identifies it):

Also, it's in the 1955 movie The Glass Slipper with Leslie Caron.
