Gay Priest Made Dean

Last year, openly gay Anglican priest Jeffrey John withdrew himself from
an appointment as bishop of Reading England because of the uproar of
conservatives. On Friday, the 51-year old sodomite priest was installed as
dean of St. Albans Cathedral in an elaborate religious ceremony filled with
hymns, prayers and Scripture readings. The cathedral serves as a shrine of
England's first 'Christian' martyr. You can bet the following scriptures
were not read at the service:

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as
he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall
surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Romans 1:26-32 For this cause God gave them up unto
vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that
which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use
of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working
that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their
error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which
are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding,
covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy
of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves
with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor

Be Ye Separate

1 Corinthians 11:19 For there must be also heresies
among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

The Church of the Redeemer in Rochester has split over the ordination of
Sodomite Bishop V. Gene Robinson over the diocese that has jurisdiction over
the church which is about 30 miles from Concord. Many of the congregation
had threatened to leave the congregation unless Robinson, who assumed leadership
of the Diocese of New Hampshire last year, relinquished his blasphemous
authority. Thirty-six members of the small church voted this week to leave.
Three voted to stay. In response, nearby Grace Baptist Church invited
Episcopalians fleeing from Redeemer to attend a joint service. At the same
time, Redeemer held services for the three remaining members, who were joined
by several supporters from other Episcopal churches and by Robinson and his
sodomite partner, Mark Andrew. The thirty-six members who left plan on forming
their own church at some time in the future.

Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences!
for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the

Pastor Sentenced

In Lima, Ohio Russell Lawrence, a pastor of Pentecostal Bethlehem Tabernacle
Church in Van Wert, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old was
sentenced yesterday to three years in prison. The 64 yr old was also placed
on probation for five years and classified as a sexually oriented offender
by Allen County Common Pleas Judge Richard Warren. Lawrence was originally
charged with rape in the November, 2002 incident.

June 27

0444 - Death of Cyril, patriarch of Alexandria. He was an intractable foe

0678 - Agatho begins his reign as Catholic Pope

1299 - In his encyclical 'Scimus fili,' Pope Boniface VIII (Benedict Gaetani)
claimed that Scotland owed allegiance to the Catholic Church. --This Boniface
VIII reigned 1271-76 and his first act as new Pope was to imprison Celestine
V the previous Pope who died of starvation a few months later. Boniface VIII
was reputed to wear a haunted ring on his left index finger. The evil spirit
that lived in the ring was said to come out at night and sleep with Boniface.

1556 - Thirteen Protestant believers die at the stake - the largest number
martyred in a single execution. Martyrs' memorial now stands on the spot.

Pride Defied

In the small town of Conway, Arkansas somethings stinks to high heaven. The
homosexual agenda organized a gay pride parade for a couple Sundays ago.
[Proverbs 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is
wisdom.] The parade route was disclosed to the media and some conservative
vigilantes seized the opportunity. They ran a dump truck along the parade
route strewing cow manure along the entire route including in front of the
homes of the sodomite 'couple' who organized the event. After complaints
reached city hall, city workers scooped and rinsed the manure from the route
prior to the parades beginning. Some 275 marchers flaunted their sinful lifestyle
in the town of 26,000 situated just north of Little Rock. Many protesters
also lined the route - some with signs opposing the lifestyle (really death-style
as all sin is working death). An Ap story detailed some of the communications
from both sides: "We want to let people know that gay people don't just live
in cities," parade organizer John Schenck said (who was with his 'partner',
Robert Loyd). "They live in little towns like Conway and Greenbrier." Protesters
along the route heckled the marchers and held signs such as "Sodomy is a
Sin that God forgives If We Repent." Other protesters turned their backs
to the marchers and prayed. "What they're doing is an abomination to God,"
said John Lauritzon, 31, of Conway.

East Meets West

Roman Pontiff Pope John Paul II met with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
I of Constantinople the spiritual leader of Orthodox Christians on Tuesday.
The Pope has kept it no secret that he would like to heal the wound between
the two factions of mainstream "Christianity." JP2 said, "We are praying
that the Lord of history purifies our memories of every prejudice and resentment
and allows us to freely proceed on the road of unity."

John Paul II expressed his desire for "a leap forward in the dialogue and
consolidation of mutual fraternal relations". As the pope noted, the meeting
came 40 years after two of their predecessors - Pope Paul VI and Patriarch
Athenagorus [1967]- met for a historic embrace in Jerusalem, as JP2
said,"rediscovering themselves brothers, ... experienced a feeling of profound
joy, which drove them to take up again with confidence the relations between
the Church of Rome and the Church of Constantinople." The two modern leaders
joined for an ecumenical Mass in St. Peter's Square marking the feast day
of St. Peter and St. Paul.

The Churches split in the 11th century in disputes over the growing power
of the papacy and, actually, over the true sabbath day. The church of the
east was upholding sabbath-keeping, in addition to the uncommanded sunday
resurrection observance, while the west embraced Sunday alone and disdained
Saturday sabbath-keeping.

Bulgaria a long document saying in it that one is to cease from work on Sunday,
but not on the Sabbath. The head of the Greek Church, offended at the

Another New Age Version

A new thoroughly modern translation that we wrote about in a previous issue
of E-Clipz has hit the bookstores. It is by former Baptist minister John
Henson and called "The ONE Translation- Good As New - A Radical retelling
of the Scriptures." The forward was written by no less than Rowan Williams,
104th Archbishop of Canterbury. Williams gushes over the new age manuscript:
"John's presentation of the Christian gospel is of extraordinary power ....
I hope that this book will help the secret to be shared, and to spread in
epidemic profusion through religious and irreligious alike."

On their "Who We Are" web page, the proponents of ONE describe themselves
as: a Britain-wide group of radical Christians joined by our Declaration
and by our meetings together and publications. Members of ONE 1) Promote
harmony between Christians. (2) Participate with others in prayerful activity
to establish peace, justice, dignity and rights for all. (3) Live in a manner
that supports sustainable use of the earth's resources. (4) Challenge oppression,
injustice, exclusion and discrimination. (5) Accept one another, valuing
their diversity and experience.

In the new version the names have been changed (to protect the innocent?)
St. Peter becomes "Rocky," Mary Magdalene becomes "Maggie," Aaron becomes
"Ron," Andronicus becomes "Andy" and Barabbas becomes "Barry." The Son of
Man is now referred to as "The Complete Person"; no longer are people possessed
by demons but only "mentally ill"; and some standard Christian doctrines
appear to be muddied, omitted or even reversed. I read once that a bank trains
their tellers to spot counterfeits by studying the real McCoy and not the
fakes. So let us compare an excerpt (The Gospel of John chapter  13,
verses 3-10) from this "Good As New" translation and see if its anywhere
as "Good As Old" King James Version by first reading the tried and true version
and comparing the "new" unto it.

KJV- John 13:3-10 Jesus knowing that the Father had
given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went
to God; He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel,
and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to
wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was
girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost
thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest
not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt
never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no
part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also
my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save
to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not
all.

One translation: Good As New - Jesus tied a towel round
his waist and started to go round the guests washing and stroking their feet.
He began with my sister Mary and I [John] realised he was returning the act
of affection she had once given to him. Indeed he seemed to be adopting her
as his role model. Some eagerly took their sandals off and pushed their feet
out for Jesus to wash. Others were more coy. What would happen, I wondered,
when it was Rocky's turn? He and I were almost touching and I felt his
temperature rising. I gave him an encouraging smile, but his face was like
thunder. 

"Leave me out! "We wash our own feet in our
house" 

"Come on now," said Jesus, "It's not often you have
the chance to get this close to me!"!

"Leave me out, I tell you. Do it to your boyfriend
here (meaning me!), he's the type- he'll enjoy it!" 

"Don't be silly, Rocky. You are all my friends. All
except one, that is. There's a traitor in every camp! Stop putting up barriers,
Rocky. Let me wash your feet and you will show you're my true friend."

"Ask the women to leave and you can wash whatever you
like!" 

"You are clean enough, Rocky. I happen to know you
went to the Baths this afternoon. It's just your feet have got dirty on the
way here." 

So Jesus washed Rocky's feet and then last of all mine.
Jesus returned the bowl to its place by the door, then came back to his place
beside me.

I am sure that many of you are horrified by this versions declarations and
homosexual innuendos. Good, you should be alarmed. Its one thing to have
modewrn vernacular but entirely another to pervert the gospel. Here are a
few other sample passages of this bad news version with KJV comparisons:

KJV: Mark 1:10-11 "And straightway coming up out of
the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending
upon him. And there came a voice from the heaven saying, Thou art my beloved
Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Good As New: "As he was climbing up the bank again,
the sun shone through a gap in the clouds. At the same time a pigeon flew
down and perched on him. Jesus took this as a sign that God's spirit was
with him. A voice from overhead was heard saying, 'That's my boy! You're
doing fine!'"

KJV: Matthew 26:69-70 "Now Peter sat without in the
palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, 'Thou also wast with Jesus of
Galilee.' But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest."

Good As New: "Meanwhile Rocky was still sitting in
the courtyard. A woman came up to him and said: 'Haven't I seen you with
Jesus, the hero from Galilee?" Rocky shook his head and said: 'I
don't know what the hell you're talking about!'"

KJV: I Corinthians 7:1-2 "Now concerning the things
whereof ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and
let every woman have her own husband."

Good As New: "Some of you think the best way to cope
with sex is for men and women to keep right away from each other. That is
more likely to lead to sexual offences. My advice is for everyone to have
a regular partner."

KJV: I Corinthians 7:8-7 "I say therefore to the unmarried
and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot
contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn."

Good As New: "If you know you have strong needs, get
yourself a partner. Better than being frustrated."

If you need a new bible, get yourself a KJV. Better than being
indoctrinated.
