Arch of Mary

Plans are laid and fundraising underway for the "Arch of Triumph of the
Immaculate Heart of Mary" and "International Shrine of the Holy Innocents."
The Association for The Arch of Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and
International Shrine of the Holy Innocents, a not-for-profit New York
corporation, in Buffalo, New York purposes to build "a truly world-class,
globally significant shrine." Arches have been used to commemorate the victories
of miltary conquests; frequently used in Roman times (e.g., the arches of
Augustus, Titus, Septimius Severus, Constantine), and used by the French
to commemorate Napoleon's victories (L'Arc de Triomphe). The location is
proposed to be on the shore of Lake Erie adjacent to downtown Buffalo [known
as The Queen City"] in near proximity of Niagra Falls and neighboring Canada.
 Their website states: "The shrine will feature primarily a monumental,
ascendable, golden triumphal arch, The Arch of Triumph of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, to be the world’s tallest monument measuring 700 feet to the
tip of the golden Cross that will surmount its peak (seven being the mystical
number of perfection, as Mary represents the perfection of humanity)." 

If, and when, this abomination is completed, this structure will replace
the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, as the world's tallest monument
(Gateway Arch is 630 feet tall and draws over 4 millions visitors). In addition
to the tourist attraction, the planners are using the pro-life/anti-abortion
platform to gain attention. This shrine will become an idol and a house of
idols.

Catholic Mary Quite Contrary

In 1890, Pope Leo XIII said, "As no man can come to the Father except through
the Son, so, generally, no man can come to Christ except through Mary." The
Roman Catholic Church has exalted Mary over all heaven and earth. By their
doctrines they say she is omnipotent, and sinless. She has been assigned
titles of deity: Morning Star, House of God, Gate of Heaven, Refuge of Sinners,
Advocate & Helper, Queen of Peace, Co-redemptrix, Seat of Wisdom, Mediatrix;
the New Eve, among others. The priests have spun lies declaring that Marian
devotion necessary for salvation; that Mary was born sinless [Immaculate
Conception of Mary], that Mary is in heaven [Assumption of Mary], that she
was a Perpetual Virgin, that she was Perfect Sinlessness. Yet, the biblical
view of Mary does not coincide with Catholic dogma.

Mary was subject to sin and the need for atonement
like us all: Luke 2:21-24 And when eight days were accomplished
for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so
named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. And when the days
of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they
brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; (As it is written in
the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy
to the Lord And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in
the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. [Ref. Leviticus
12:5-8]

Romans 3:9-10 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we
have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As
it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Jesus is the Morning Star- Not Mary:
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto
you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David,
and the bright and morning star.

Jesus is the Gate to Heaven- Not Mary:
Jesus is the ladder or stairway Jacob saw at Bethel and is
thusly the Gate of Heaven: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder
set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the
angels of God ascending and descending on it. Genesis 28:17 And he was afraid,
and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of
God, and this is the gate of heaven.

John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter
ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending
upon the Son of man.

John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
I am the door [gate]of the sheep.

Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the
Father.

Jesus is our Advocate and Redeemer - Not
Mary: 1 John 2:1-2 My little children, these things write
I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with
the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our
sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus Ascended into Heaven  - Not Mary:
Jesus testified in John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to
heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in
heaven.

Mary, like the other saints, is dead and awaiting
the return of Christ to be resurrected:1 Corinthians 15:22-23
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every
man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's
at his coming.

Is Mary Blessed more than other saints because
'she knows the heart of Jesus' and has knowledge of Him that other saints
do not? Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the
LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our
children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Psalms 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will
shew them his covenant.

Proverbs 3:32 For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret
is with the righteous.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets.

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not
what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I
have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Who did Jesus equate to His
mother? Mark 3:31-35 There came then his brethren and his
mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude
sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren
without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or
my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said,
Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God,
the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother

Before His death, Jesus referred to Mary merely as "woman" and gave her John
the disciple as a replacment son.: John 19:26-27 When Jesus therefore saw
his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his
mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy
mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Who was the Real Biblical Mary?
Mary was indeed a saint. She had indeed found grace in the eyes
of God. She was indeed blessed to give birth to the Messiah. She was blessed
because she was a faithful believer in God and kept His Word. Luke 1:28 And
the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured,
the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.Luke 1:45-50
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance
of those things which were told her from the Lord. And Mary said, My soul
doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For
he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth
all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath
done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on
them that fear him from generation to generation.

What did Jesus say when someone exalted Mary
for being the one who birthed and nurse Him? Luke 11:27-28
And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company
lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee,
and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed
are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Mary did both. Yet, do not make her an object of worship. Do not exalt
her to equal or greater than God's Son. Do not offer prayers to her. She
is dead, in her grave, awaiting the return of her Beloved Son Jesus - just
like the rest of the saints that sleep. Want to join them when they meet
Jesus in the air? Acts 2:38-40 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is
unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many
as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify
and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Religion in the Nether Regions

In the Netherlands, the Dutch Reformed Church, the Calvinist Reformist Church,
and the Lutheran Church have announced they will merge on May 1st, 2004 [an
illuminati favorite date]. The new ecumenical church will be called the
Protestant Church of the Netherlands with over 2 million members. A celebration
service on "neutral territory", a Roman Catholic church, was held yesterday
evening in Utrecht. Keeping with current practices in the extremely liberal
country, the new Protestant Church will permit gay marriages and the ordaining
of women pastors.

Church Comics:

An Ol' Cowboy Goes to Church

One Sabbath morning an old cowboy entered a church just before services were
to begin. Although the old man and his clothes were spotlessly clean, he
wore jeans, a denim shirt and boots that were very worn and ragged. In his
hand he carried a worn out old hat and an equally worn out bible.  

The church he entered was in a very upscale and exclusive part of the city.
It was the largest and most beautiful church the old cowboy had ever seen.
The people of the congregation were all dressed with expensive clothes and
accessories. As the cowboy took a seat, the others moved away from him. No
one greeted, spoke to, or welcomed him. They were all appalled at his appearance
and did not attempt to hide it.

The preacher gave a long sermon about Hellfire and brimstone and a stern
lecture on how much money the church needed to do God's work. As the old
cowboy was leaving the church, the preacher approached him and asked the
cowboy to do him a favor. "Before you come back in here again, have a talk
with God and ask him what He thinks would be appropriate attire for worship."

The old cowboy assured the preacher he would. The next Sabbath, he showed
back up for the services wearing the same ragged jeans, shirt, boots, and
hat. Once again he was completely shunned and ignored. The preacher approached
the man and said, "I thought I asked you to speak to God before you came
back to our church."

"I did," replied the old cowboy.

"If you spoke to God, what did he tell you the proper attire should be for
worshiping in here?" asked the preacher.

"Well, sir, God told me that He didn't have a clue what I should wear."

"He says... He's never been in here before."
