I am disappointed that a small band of club members feel the need to rubbish my good name after only one game. I feel we got a few good things from Saturdays game despite the result. Sam bowled well, actually hitting the correct wicket, and nearly reaching the front line, Kenny did well with the ball taking a wicket, Elky proved he has the ability to bowl in 1st team cricket and we all had fun. My disappointment is our batting. At least 5 or 6 of our wickets were lost due to poor application, Kenny wandering across his stumps, Sam slogging and missing in particular and Ian not launching the full toss for 6. There are others but they are not behind this abusive hate campaign so i suggest you all pack it in and concentrate or Lol, Ben and Alex will all be in and you will be playing with Mick Paradine at Finmere.
