On June 9 this year, Alistair Taylor passed away.
Alistair was General manager of NEMS from 1961 until the death of Brian Epstein in 1967.
Later that year he joined Apple as General Manager and it was Paul McCartney who asked Alistair to 'find' Mary after Twiggy saw her on Opp Knocks.
When she first moved to London she stayed with Alistair and his wife Lesley.
Sadly, Lesley is also terminally ill.
On 23 October we are holding a 'salute to Alistair' in his adopted home town of Matlock, raising money for MacMillan Cancer Relief.
Can anyone get a message to Mary? If so can she send an anecdote or a message of some sort?
Or even consider coming along to play?
This is a bit of a shot in the dark but it would be good to add something to the messages we have already received from the likes of Sir George Martin and Billy J Kramer.
