Are any Sullivans Scots-Irish?

My ancestors came to American with Scots-Irish from Ulster after 1720. I haven't seen the Sullivan name on surname lists for the Scots-Irish. Does anyone know if it was common for the Irish to come over with the Ulster Scots? Could it be that my Sullivan ancestor married a Scots-Irish woman and came with her family? I know anything is possible, but I'd like to know if this association was common.
