I am looking for information on John Matthew Sullivan, I believe he was born around 1812. His wife's name was Harriet Love, and later married another Harriet, last name was Raspberry. The story that has been passed down in my family is that he came over from Ireland, was in the civil war, saved an indian chief's life and was given the chief's daughter in marriage. I would like to validate this story! Any information would be great!
