A guest actor says "Hi"...

Dear “Fury” Conference,

I really enjoyed the series on Saturday mornings, too. I even remember seeing “Hopalong Cassidy” and “Howdy Doody", while I lived in Toronto, Canada before moving to L.A. in the mid-fifties.

But even more exciting to me was that I once appeared as a guest actor on "Fury", in the role of a troubled youngster taken into the family's home temporarily. I'm guessing it was the episode titled “Big Brothers”(?) December 26, 1959, Season Five. I felt so lucky!

But, the only memorabilia I have is a somewhat damaged Polaroid photo of me in costume with Fury beside me. I would like to purchase the episode mentioned. However, I'd like to confirm that it is the correct episode before doing so.

Is there any chance someone who has that show could do that for me? I see that only the first few episodes are summarized on the site.

Also, is there a way to see the episode on the site before I buy it? Are the videos well dubbed technically? How’s the graininess? Are all the credits included? How about the original commercials? How about a return policy in case of damage? I didn’t see any FAQ’s regarding these questions.

On another "search" subject: I'm also looking for any copy anyone may have from back in the early '60's of any one of 3 episodes I appeared in of the NBC anthology series, "The Shirley Temple Show", (not the earlier ABC series "the Shirley Temple Storybook"). The episodes are: "Kim", "The Black Arrow" and "The Return of Long John Silver". Compensation would, of course, be involved.

I'd sure appreciate some help or advice on these things.

Fury has a fun site! I’ve enjoyed reading all the e-mails here. Congratulations!

Regards,

Tony Haig
