Dear Chorus,
We achieved a good start on the Beethoven Mass in C last Thursday! Please use those mp3 files and resources to work on the Gloria and Credo for this next week. Markings for the Kyrie and Gloria are available, and we’ll expect you to have them in your score. Seating for this concert will be mixed, so it is up to each member to know their part extremely well. For rehearsals, our definition of mixed can include that you may sit near someone of your same part, but there should not be more than two of any section together.
Please bring your Brahms Requiem scores, those of you that have them. We are still working on the possibility of public domain scores which we could pre-edit with markings and reproduce. More on that as we progress! But we will begin to work on the Brahms just to get it into our periphery.
I’m still soaring from our Honegger and Stravinsky concert, and hope you are, too!
