Dear Chorus,
CONGRATULATIONS! I hope you are still high from that wonderful, committed, fully-human, moving and vibrant performance! I was thrilled, and remain so. I don't know if I have ever, ever seen an audience float- no, SAIL out of Carnegie as they did last night. My delight extends to the soloists and orchestra, who all really rose to the occasion. And my gratitude goes to you for all your dedication to detail and nuance, and your courage to sing out of the score so beautifully! Of course, I'm already thinking about our next performance....
Have a wonderful break, and a heartfelt Holiday with friends and family. We have MUCH to look forward to in '07!
