Message:   Dear Chorus,

I am so proud of the strides we are making in intonation and tone! Congratulations. For those absent, last night we covered these movements:

Beethoven Mass: end of Gloria from QUONIAM/Allegro ma non troppo, Kalmus p15-21. End of Credo from ET VITAM/Vivace, p37-41. This was excellent work!
Messiah: Since by Man & But Thanks be to God

Next week we will use the seating of this week, with the TB in front and SA behind. The blend of the chorus is much better in this formation!

MUSIC NEXT WEEK: Please prepare these movements:
Handel: Behold the Lamb of God, p75 (exactly as written, without the optional 16th notes shown above your first note of entrance); Let us break, p 141
Beethoven: We will review last night's sections, and the beginning of the Credo Kalmus pp22-27.
If we have it and time allows, we will read some of the Honegger King David, last movement.

Please note your section leaders, whose contacts are posted on the site. I am grateful to them for their support!

Have a great week,
Kent
