Boar's Head and Royal Oak

My grandmother's great aunt was Izette Iris Sellek (note the correct spelling!) who with her husband Mark ran the Boar's Head on Redcliff Hill and then the Boar's Head in St Lukes Road

Re the 1851 census Mary Plant was actually her mother and the youngsters described as grandchildren Mary's grandchildren not Mark and Izette's.

The unknown child's surname was Helmore but I think this child was acually 18 not 8

Re the Royal Oak on Gloucester Road my great grandparents George and Sophia Southard were tworking there in the late 1880s but I don't know in what capacity exactly. George is listed in Kelly's as Manager

I only check my emails at iregular intervals but woudl be pleased to haer from anyone who knows more
