The Bell, Gloucester Lane, Bristol
I am trying to trace The Bell in Gloucester Lane Bristol. My Gt Gt Grandfather Gregory Fish was a maltster and brewer there from 1834-1852 when he died. His wife Harriet [née Ward] ran the place from 1853-1858 and then their brother? Joseph Fish seems to have taken over. Gregory and Harriet's son Joseph Perrett Fish became a Chemist. Can anyone tell me whether The Bell still exists and if not what happened to it? Thanks |
