Bay Horse Tavern
From your Webiste I see the Bay Horse Pub (Formerly the Holly Branch Tavern)of Wellington Street is no longer. But I've now located a Bay Horse pub on Lewins Mead still trading. I have no knowledge of Bristol, but did the pub on Lewins Mead inherit the name or could it be the same pub? David. |

David, The Bay Horse, Lewin's Mead, is an old pub near the centre of Bristol, and as you say, is still trading. The Bay Horse, Wellington Street was about a mile away in St.Paul's. Other than having the same name I don't think there was any connection between these two pubs. Kevin. |
