Joseph Turner... Publican

Hello, I know its a long shot. My research (maternal family tree) shows a relative Joseph Turner (aged 30) as Publican on the 1841 census for Lower Swainswick. Does anyone have any information regarding the local pubs he may have been associated with. His wife's name was Mary Turner aged 30.

Brian,

In 1839 there was a Joseph Turner (and a John Turner before him) at the Britannia, Piccadilly place, London Road. Not quite Lower Swainswick, but close enough to be a possibility.

Kevin.
