A little over 4 months ago my Daughter who was 12 at the time started to recieve some inappropriate text messages on her mobile phone from her grand father. The content of the text messages where as follows... 1,"Hi ha ha ******* ha. Are you ok about me getting a bit horny last night? I am worried that i went to far. Did i go to far?" We dont know what the original text message was as she deleated it and wont tell us! 2,"Hi. good morning. I have a hang over, i was really ******* I am sorry if i upset you with my last text. Please dont tell anyone bout it and make sure you deleate our messages i keep forgeting you are so young. 3, "You know that i should not feel like i do about you dont you? please dont tell anyone i promise i will not touch you or hurt you but please tell me how you feel" 4, "I like you a lot! and dont tell your boy friend either i bet he thinks i am a bit weird does he?" Both me nd my wife where horrified when we found out about the text messages from our daughter who was distraught about the fact that her grandfather had written these thing to her, We informed the police straight away and he was later arrested for trying to facilitate a sexual act with a minor the crown prosecution services have decided not to take the matter any further. My daughter is still having nightmares about this man and is not able to go and see her biological father and sister as her grandfather lives near them and she is to scared to go to the area. We was wondering if this is worth trying to bring a civil case against him? |
