my experiences as a child

First of all having visited other forums ie fireinice and reading about other survivors of child abuse I thought I would say something about my experiences. The hardest part is I was repeatedly abused for about 17 years of my life yet I have very little knowledge of what was done to me.I know for a fact that my father did abuse me which has now left me with numerous injuries possible brain damage fractured jaw a near fatal paralysis after he apparently used an object ie poker/belt on me missing my spine about four/five inches..

Fortunately yes I am still here but at whose cost I have suffered mental, physical, neglect, emotional, verbal sexual abuse from my family and also while in two foster homes three childrens homes and two institutional settings This led to the threat of more abuse once leaving care thus exposing me to the kind of things I had witnessed during my child hood drug/alcahol abuse violence and so on I can go on but considering my case files consist of several volumes spanning 30 years of my life I have some what finally managed to find some contempt in my life Yes what I have mentioned here is shocking and I am now confronting those who job it was was to protect me. Why because I am now a father of two children my self.
Sadly they are not with me because accusations were made against me that I and my wife who I met in care were both alleged to have harmed them.this was then dropped after we gave in to the local authorities demands by alowing our children to be put up for adoption.
So there you have it

Hi Andrew my mate.

Very sad story and like many others I feel for you.

Why not come into fireinice2005 site and have a chat with some of the fellow survivors, it may help you.

Chin Up Mate
