Message:   Yep, it's not a bad job - everyday's different!

For all the circuit diagrams and waveforms I used Microsoft Visio Pro 2002, it a really good cad program and can be picked up quite cheaply now on eBay. It's good when you are doing things like the phasor diagrams as when you draw a line you can specify its exact length and angle.

It's pretty intuitive (I hadn't used it prior to starting my course so I was self taught) and you can easily manage without, but you need a book to get the VERY best out of it - Visio Inside Out is the one I bought.

I think you can download a trial version of Visio 2007 from the microsoft.co.uk website.

I know one of the guys on course did all his drawings with the drawing tools in Word (not exactly the best cad program in the world!) and I have to say they looked pretty sharp, so he got my respect.
