Players only love you when they're playing - Sounds like so many relationship on this show, but I would have to say this is a prediction of what will happen with Lexana. And women, they will come and they will go - Obvious women coming and going in and out of Smallville, might represent Lois considering it seems she's always in and out of Smallville for very little reasons. When the rain washes you clean, you'll know - Once again it may represent Cassandra's vision in "Hourglass of Clark. Or it could be a reminder of Jonathan's funeral considering the last time there was a funeral was at Whitney's Dad's funeral and Clark was standing in the rain. Could also be referencing Lex, and him playing a key role in freeing Zod. - Honour trampled (Death Of Superman. An Evil Cyborg Superman working with Mongul wiped out Coast City in Superman's name) - Learn the ways and patterns of the world, the good in the world - The truth and good in the world is the only thing that cannot be trampled - This all seems to describe perfectly what future Clark/ Superman will go through. THEIR STONY HEARTS HIDE THE VISITOR. - This could mean Brainiac and Zod taking someone hostage, to get Clark to do what they want him to do. The hostage being the visitor, hidden from sight. LA CIUDAD BLANCA ES UN LUGAR DE SUENO PROFUNDO. sueño (with a "tilde" over the "n") is spanish for "Sleep". So: "DE SUENO PROFUNDO" means "a profound sleep" This translates from Spainish to English to: THE WHITE CITY IS A PLACE OF A PROFOUND SLEEP. - The White City is probably the Fortress Of Solitude. - This could mean the profound sleep of 10 years that Clark spends at Fortress Of Solitude learning the knowldge of everything, before becoming Superman. This was played at the part after the get out of the building and Lex is watching jealously the Kents as they hug and show true emotion, while his father hugs in for no reason other than publicity. - With Lionel being attracted to Matha, Lionel is obviously going to try to convince Clark that he's good and that maybe Lionel will treated Clark better than Lex, therefore making Lex jealous again. - Or this could just be a sign of Lionel and Martha's growing relationship due to the fact that the last time they were close was during "Insurgence" FEELS LIKE MY INSIDES ARE ON FIRE, - This could mean the return of Red K Clark or Kal seeing how whenever Clark takes Red K, after awhile his insides feel like their on fire and his scar burns. AND I'M LOOKING THROUGH THE EYES OF SOMEONE ELSE. - This sounds like what Clark was going through when he was taken over, turned into Kal-El and controlled by Jor-El. - This might also represent Jor-El looking out through the eyes of Lionel. The line is about young "Harry" (or Henry V) finally taking on the mantle of kingship. - This could represent that since Jonathan has died that Clark is going to be the man of the house now and take kingship. - Or it could represent Jor-El finally passing on and letting Clark take the throne. This part of the play the ghost of Hmalet's father is telling Hamlet how his Uncle, the king brother, killed him and now has married his mother by seducing and tricking her. - Jonathan's spirit/ghost will return to Clark to warn him about Lionel hitting and trying to take advantage of Martha, Lionel's involvement in his heart attack and to encourage Clark to have more courage and faith in himself. - This will mostly likely happen in a future episode called "Void". After his break up with Lana, having to deal with her and Lex being together and having to deal with the continued stress of daily life without his father, Clark will be vulnerable mentally, spiritually and he physically won't be expecting an attack from Brainiac and the evils in the dark. Clark will become close to death and have a near death experience or be trapped in the Phantom Zone and will see what life in Smallville and on Earth in general would be like if Clark and the meteor shower had never come. |

SOMETHING'S GOING TO START LOOKING BACK. - I couldn't find any direct matches to this, I believe this line is a direct quote from someone. - I found this "when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you..." Friedrich Nietzsche We know Lionel is a fan of Neitzsche, as he had a copy of "beyond good and evil" in an episode I forget. Note: Nietzsche was also in the "Pilot" episode. When Clark dropped his books he had a book called: The Portable Nietzsche, edited and translated by Walter Kaufmann. - This sounds like something Lionel or Brainiac would say isn't it? But who would they say it to? To Lex to shock him or to Clark trying to bait him to the dark side? |
