Help with the 51st DLI?

I hope someone can help.
I am trying to find information of my great grandfather Charles Jowsey. According to his marriage certificate he was a Corporal in the 51st DLI based in Guisborough in Sept 1918. He then, 3 months later in December was a Corporal in the Northumberland Fusiliers.
I looked him up on the National archives - and though can find a medal card for Charles H Jowsey (Reg ID 91233) am not sure this is the right person and can't find a service record. I also don't seem to be able to find any information about the 51st Durham Light Infantry either - did it exist or could this be a typo? I don't know where to go to try and get more information. Any help would be greatfully received.
