Unknown badge enquiry
Hi.. I am looking for some information about a Badge I recently aquired. It is in the form of a silver star, has a shield in the centre with a Cameron type stags head on the shield. Above which is a strung bugle. The badge is obviously a Light Infantry badge of some description and is hallmarked silver which dates it to the 1850's. Any help wpould be very much appreciated. Hello, I am not an expert on Badges but is is not one of the recent Light Infantry Regiments Badges. It is most probably a Badge of The Highland Light Infantry although they were Light Infantry they were never part of the Light Infantry Division, Very good and proud Regiment. Try obtaining some info from Scotland |
