(Someone's mouth has overdrawn their bad ass account again..) Which Cody by the way? Johnson? Salem? Keiswetter? Buffalo Bill? Commander? Could you be a little more specific? Incident? Who got ran into? When? Track? Turn? Reason? Or are you just bored Keyboard Jockey? |

I guess if you would pay attention to the main page you could see which Cody. As for your other question it was jetmore and who didnt he run into. This doesnt have anything to do with being bored, just makin a suggestion. |

Alex, have you ever driven a race car? Until you have actually strapped your butt into one then it would probably be a good idea to keep your opinions on actual race car drivers to yourself. Or pony up some bucks and build yourself one and go out there and come back and tell us just how it is not to get into trouble with 19 other cars on the track. Sometimes stuff happens and then other times you are just simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you are talking about the incident at the beginning of the A-Main, there were at least two other cars involved in that one. Are they somehow absolved of any cause to the caution? There were twenty cars going into 1 & 2 all trying to claim the same piece of real estate. |

This should just stop before it starts. Take it from someone who knows.....cause I write the checks....the only $ spent on repairs were NOT Cody's fault. Won't even go as far to say it was anyone's fault...It's racin man. It seems he's taken a lot more hits than he's given. I'm not even going to say what a great driver he is because that would appear biased. What I can tell you is that on the track he is every car owner's dream. He goes out there with the mentality knowing that if he tears something up someone else (the owner) is going to have to pay for it. No matter how much you tell him not to worry about it I'm sure its always in the back of his head. Does that stop him from charging to the front? Nope. But he is ALWAYS conscious of that car and does his best to esure it doesn't get tore up. Sometimes it does. Once again, that's called racing Alex. There has been many times when we have driven home disappointed because we as carowners don't feel that we've given Cody the best car to work with. We have fought problem after problem after problem. Have we given up? Nope. We drove six hours to support the Steve King Memorial because it was important to Cody and John. How far did you drive? Cody saved us a blown motor because he was conscious enough to actually look at his gauges....and know enough to shut it down.....not something every driver would do. Would he have done it if it was his own motor? Maybe.....maybe not. Bottom line is Cody doesn't deserve your attacks and this makes two weeks in a row. You should take notes from Cody and learn what it takes to be a stand up person rather than hide behind a screen name that no one ever sees unless you are attacking Cody. If you want to take what YOU have pegged as reckless driving then take it out on John and me because we are the ones that tells him every week to drive the balls off it but above all BE SAFE AND DON'T GET HURT. Have a nice night.

I should probably add real quick that the only repairs spent on the car THIS YEAR weren't Cody's fault. Not saying he's never made a mistake......but always owns up to them when he does. Take lesson. Rick raised a good boy...Kudos to Rick |

I'll make a few comments on this one, I won't bash anyone cause I'm new to the series and the people in it. i do however know that when you get 18-20 non wing cars on a track that people can and will at some point get together. If your running close especially on a one grove track, if you noticed it pretty much was saturday night, it only takes someone checking up to cause problems. I'm not going to sit here and praise a driver even the one I'm working for, in this case Cody. For one that was only my second race with him but I have not seen him do anything stupid, I do know he gets pretty upset at himself if he makes a mistake. This series has alot of new drivers from various other forms of racing, it's the first of the year as well so everyone is getting upto speed with what they have so mistakes happen. I do know Shawna was wiping off a tire mark all the way up the left side of the car from wichita. That tells me there are some pretty anxious drivers out there. I've seen multiple track champions make some pretty dumb driving mistakes, so it's not how long you've drove or how good you might think you are alot of things happen in racing no matter what kind it is and wrecks happen. I do think this series is the best thing to happen to sprint car racing around here for a very long time. I think the drivers and everyone involved that put on a show for the fans either officials, crews, or drivers show be supported and not bashed for trying to put on a good show for the stands. They don't deserve to be bashed from the stands. I know the left rear was sliced about 10" from someone getting into him I know we changed it and got him back out. If you also noticed there was plenty of other drivers getting caught up in wrecks or just plain spinning out but you didn't mention them. One last thought, If Cody was driving so bad it sure wasn't evident in the B main, kind of hard to run into someone when your half a lap ahead of everyone. |

Alex I am not sure who you are or what I have done to offend you... I will have you know that your claims at Jetmore are far from anything I saw or felt. I bumped wheels with two people that night, Josh Fairbanks and Chris Miller. After the races I went down and apologized to Josh for what happened in turn three and Chris came down and apologized to me for tagging me in turn one. No one involved had hard feelings, its racing and close racing at that. Josh and I ran close for several laps and we did touch, one time. But thanks for your observations and your insight these past few weeks. Cody Salem #23 |

Alex I do really hope you were making a joke and it was taken wrong...if not then you need to go talk to the person. All this negativity is only going to hurt the series and its time we start hearing the positive. Such as when several crews loan parts, or tools to help someone get back on the track...or congrats when someone wins. Drama can be good but there has gotten to be too much drama and may start hurting the series. Rick works hard on the series and several of us fans would like to see it continue as well as the racers. If people have a problem with someone take it to them PRIVATELY...as a fan I want to start hearing about all the good stuff that goes on in the pits and track and not all cut downs and complaining that someone is cheating. That is all I have to say...I would like to thank everyone for putting on such a good show Saturday...Next race can someone bring some heaters and shut off the fans LMAO. Have a great day and hope to see everyone next time at Jetmore. |

Cody: Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that you just reafirmed what a lot of people said on hear and the way the rest of us feel about you. You are a Class act. Keep up the good work!!!!!! I to agree the we need the positive on hear to help this series and to help Rick and the rest of you. That is what we can do for all the hard work you have done for the fans and the URSS. This is a great thing.
