Buying a motor bike?
Hi all, a quick question. I'm thinking of spending 3mths at the camp, but as I like to explore and have my mobility, I was thinking that buying a bike would be overall cheaper than hiring. But I'm guessing that as a non resident, buying a bike may be difficult. Any opinions/advice? On another note, is the WiFi access at Goongs included in the Bungalow price or is it separate? If separate, what's the hourly cost? cheers, Steve |

Buying a bike is really easy. I was looking at it when i was over there. I can be cheaper over all than renting because you sell it at the end. Dunno how much hassle selling is though. not sure on prices. I saw second hand choppers for like 30 000 bhat. |

You can buy a new bike / honda dream here for approx 50.000 THB You need to have a work visa / Long term visa to own a registered vehicle in Thailand ... the easiest way is to put it in the name of a Thai friend. Second hand bikes in good condition sell for approx 50% - 75% of its original vale
