Fender Rhodes Stage 73
Can someone tell me how much a Fender Rhodes 73 is worth in the UK. There seems to be plenty for sale in America but there appears to be a dearth of them over here.

Play It Again Tony

Now I know you are a few years younger than me 'young' Eugene, but have you forgotten the weight of these things!! The lad that played piano for Tony Strudwick Orchestra had one didn't he? (Back in 'those' days). I once tried moving it. It was nearly as heavy as shifting around that awful piano in the Snowdonia Lounge, - the one with a rough cut bit of wood fastened on as a 'leg' (after the real leg fell off!). Seriously though, the Fender is a beautiful instrument. I always liked the Wurlitzer Stage Piano myself (until you came to have to tune it). I'd check out on Ebay. I think they are now like the old Hammond tonewheels, - finding one is discovering treasure.

To further this thread on Fender Rhodes. I currently have photos of the Fender and Wurlitzer on my site. A Wurlitzer recently sold through Ebay for over 600 pounds, so heaven knows what a Fender would bring. I mentioned Hammonds. Surprisingly enough a mint condition L100 with separate Leslie only reached 300 pounds recently (the wife would not let me buy it, she said it would shake the house down, so I ended up buying a Yamaha Electone). Now onto your mp3 of "The Very Thought of You". Do you realise just how good this is? Or do you need me to tell you that it's superb! Who's been listening to Erroll's version then? Must get myself a nice weighted electric piano. But I also want a Korg M1, a Kawai K4 etc., etc.
